Press Alert: WCED Bursaries Awards

The bursaries will bring the total number of bursaries awarded to maths and science student teachers to 82 this year. The bursary scheme by the Western Cape Education Department is one of a number of interventions designed to improve learner performance in maths and science in the Western Cape.

The increase in the number of bursaries this year forms part of the Easter Campaign announced earlier this year by the Premier, to fast-track service delivery and build a learning home for all in the province.

We would be delighted if you could attend. The function will take place in Conference Room 1 on the 2nd floor of the WCED Head office in lower Plein Street, starting at 17h30 for 18h00.
