Media Alert: No Fee Schools Programme- Western Cape

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has the pleasure of inviting you to the official launch of the No-Fee School Programme in the province.

Venue: Paulus Joubery Primary School, Beukes Street, Paarl

Paulus Joubert Primary is one of 419 schools that have opted for no-fee status in the Western Cape. The Premier, Ebrahim Rasool will present a cheque to the Principal of Paulus Joubert on this occasion, to cover school fees for all the learners at the school in 2006.

The No-Fee Schools Programme is one of the WCED's deliverables required by the Premier's 2006 Siyabulela campaign. The WCED will provide further information on the implementation of the no-fee schools policy at the event.
