Modern Technology Training Centre for the blind to be launched by Minister Fritz

6 June 2016

Tomorrow, Minister Albert Fritz will address the launch of the world-first Kaleidoscope Modern technology Training Centre for the blind in Worcester.

The Centre is a partnership between the NGO Kaleidoscope (formerly the Institute for the Bind), the international tech giant Apple, and banking group, ABSA.

The facility will play a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities, especially the blind, with skills that’ll allow them to become skilled tech artisans and digital entrepreneurs.

There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.
