Minister Plato to Meet with Elsie's River Community about Gangsterism and Drug Abuse

On Sunday, 20 May 2012, Dan Plato, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, will meet with members of the Elsie's River community to discuss the way forward in addressing gangsterism and drug abuse in the area.

After the public meeting, Minister Plato will join a youth prayer service at the Hanover Civic Centre in Hanover Park. The prayer service is being held to unite the community against gangsterism and as an intervention aimed at preventing the youth from becoming involved with gangsterism.
