Central Karoo Health Platform update - 18 December 2020

The Central Karoo has seen a 50%  increase in new COVID-19 cases over the last seven days compared to the previous seven days.

We have noted an increase in cases in all of the subdistricts. Most concerning is the increase in Prince Albert and Beaufort West subdistricts.

Hospitals in Central Karoo have also seen an increase in COVID-19 patients.

 We urge residents to be safe this festive season. Avoid crowded places, close contact settings and areas with poor ventilation and wear your mask.
