All public FET colleges are accredited providers of Further Education and Training.
All qualifications offered by FET colleges are NQF (National Qualifications Framework) alligned, and registered with SAQA (South Africa Qualifications Authority) or international quality authorities.
All learning programmes of study offered by FET colleges are fully accredited by the relevant authorities.
All specialist lecturers, besides having an appropriate higher education qualification, are personally registered by industry to offer and assess specialist programmes.
All specialist workshop facilities that train for specific industries are accredited by the relevant industry.
All teaching and learning support material used in specialist environments is accredited by the specific industry.
All other teaching and learning support material used meets Department of Education criteria.
All FET colleges have quality management systems.
All FET colleges are quailty assured.

All FET college academic heads meet regularly with a view to sharing best practice to ensure quality education and training.
