Minister Madikizela to officially open Klein-Bergrivier bridge in Gouda

Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 August 2019, Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, Bonginkosi Madikizela will officially open the newly upgraded Klein-Bergrivier Bridge in Gouda in the Drakenstein municipal area.

The R190 million project commenced in June 2017 and its objective was to rehabilitate the trunk Road 23 Section to make it fit for use in-terms of providing a new road surface. This project forms part of the Department of Transport and Public Works’ commitment to delivering quality transport infrastructure that contributes to the economy of the Western Cape.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by Drakenstein Executive Mayor, Conrad Poole, during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
