Minister Grant to Donate Used Car Seat to Imperial Car Seats at Blue Route Mall

6 October 2015

Today (6 October 2015), Donald Grant, Minister of Transport and Public Works will donate a used car seat to the Imperial Car Seats for Kids campaign.

This campaign forms part of joint efforts, between IMPERIAL Road Safety, the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works, and KFM Breakfast, to improve child road safety and to encourage parents to restrain their children in appropriate car seats when they are travelling in vehicles.

The campaign has been run successfully in Johannesburg, and is now in Cape Town.

Our Safely Home campaign will be focusing on child road safety over the month of October, under the hashtag #SaveKidsLives on @WCGovSafelyHome, educating the public on how to protect our children against unnecessary injury.

There will be opportunities for photographs and interviews.
