Minister Anroux Marais mourns the loss of Nolufefe Philpina Mtshabe

27 February 2020

It is with great sorrow that we have learnt of the passing of one of our well- known choral practitioners, Nolufefe Philpina Mtshabe.

Minister Anroux Marais said, “Ms Nolufefe Mtshabe was a champion of Choral Music in this province and country at large. All the singers who went through her affectionate hands are plying their craft all over the world, starting from humble beginnings in the Western Cape.

"She served the choral sector with a great deal of dedication and excellence and her warm character and willingness to provide guidance will sorely be missed."

In this time of our country’s history as we journey back to that which makes us great, let us celebrate Nolufefe through her choral music and legacy which aptly celebrates our country, our nation and our land.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends and colleagues.
