MEDIA ALERT:Presentation of budget vote for Cultural Affairs and Sport 2015/2016

In his first parliamentary appearance after a sick leave period, Minister Theuns Botha will this week announce the budget allocations for the Cultural Affairs and Sport portfolio. Minister Botha will explain the re-design of the Cultural Affairs and Sport budget to maximize the Western Cape Government’s game changer strategy. Minister Botha’s budget vote will focus on the allocation of the budget towards the Mass Development Programmes for youth through aftercare centres, and how the budget has been designed to optimize the improvement of education outcomes and opportunities for youth development.
