Media Alert: WCG to launch 50 Wi-Fi hotspots as part of provincial rollout

WCG, NEOTEL TO LAUNCH FIRST 50 WI-FI HOTSPOTS AS PART OF PROVINCIAL ROLLOUT

Tomorrow, 16 March 2016, Premier Helen Zille will launch the first phase of a ground breaking Wi-Fi rollout to every ward across the Western Cape.

Premier Zille will be joined by Minister Alan Winde and NEOTEL Director Kennedy Memani.

All parts of the Province – metros and rural areas – will have access to Wi-Fi. This is the most comprehensive Wi-Fi rollout project championed by a provincial government in South Africa.

The Wi-Fi Hotspot launch will be followed by a question and answer session.
