Media Alert: Premier Zille to Join Africa Day Celebrations

Tomorrow, 25 May 2016, Premier Helen Zille will take part in the annual Africa Day celebrations.

The celebrations will be held in partnership with the City of Cape Town and the Artscape Theatre, amongst others.

During the day various activities will take place including: theatre performances, music, various public installations and food tasting and country exhibitions.

Premier Zille will join the celebrations and deliver the official opening address at 13:00.  

The celebrations will include another edition of the TEDX Table Mountain talks under the theme: Dynamic Leaps. The Talks are scheduled to begin at 17:00.

Premier Zille will be joined by Finance Minister, Ivan Meyer, who is also responsible for International Relations, and other foreign dignitaries.
