Media Alert: Media Briefing on Inward Migration of Learners into the Province
On Thursday, 6 February, the media are invited to attend a press conference on inward migration of learners into the Western Cape province.
Minister Grant will be providing media statistics on how many learners from outside the province have enrolled in Western Cape schools since the start of 2010, specifically focusing on inward migration from the Eastern Cape.
Grant will also release details on the areas in which learners are migrating into and the impact it has on the provisioning of education resources and the management of the system.
