Media Alert: DCAS hosts Soccer Festival in celebration of Africa Day

On Saturday, 21 May 2016, the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS), in conjunction with the Khayelitsha Sport Council, will host a soccer festival in celebration of Africa Day at the Khayelitsha Stadium.

This soccer festival will bring together teams representing different cultures and countries. The competition will be made up of teams with players 18 years and older. Africa Day is celebrated on 25 May. DCAS, in partnership with the National Department of Arts and Culture (DAC), is hosting various activities throughout May in celebration of Africa Month.
