On 3 March, the Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities, David Maynier, the Acting Chief Director for Skills Development & Innovation at the Department for the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Nezaam Joseph, and the Director Digital Leadership of the Digital Economy Unit at the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Olivia Dyers, disscussed how the Western Cape government is supporting entrepreneurship and small business growth in the Western Cape. In this week's episode they shared information about how the Western Cape government is assisting businesses to find the right people with the right skills to boost their productivity, as well as looking at the impact of digital transformation on skills development and ensuring our young people are employable and ready to compete in the workplace of the future.
