The Overberg Meander Cycle Route

The Overberg Meander is the newest addition to a selection of bespoke cycle routes exclusive to the Western Cape.

An initiative of the Western Cape Government, this awe-inspiring route offers an exciting journey of self-discovery, that will open your eyes to breath-taking natural beauty you never thought possible.

This route will take you on a 370km journey as you begin – or end – your ride through the rolling hills of the vibrant Swellendam Valley, with the striking Langeberg Mountains as your backdrop, and arriving at the southern-most tip of Africa, L’Agulhas.

Stop over at the historic town of Elim; thereafter cruising through the aptly named Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven on Earth), before completing your journey in the famed Elgin Valley, a gem of the Cape Overberg.

This exciting premium route will be launched on 10 December 2018 in Swellendam, in time for that well-deserved nature break-away with family and friends.

The Overberg Meander is more than just a cycle route – it’s a journey.
