The Western Cape’s Provincial LED Academy is an online video learning platform offering LED content in short-form videos that municipal officials and office bearers across the municipality can access.
DEDAT will provide all Western Cape municipalities the opportunity to host a municipal academy via dedicated municipal URLs, which offer access to a range of diverse topics that impact LED.
The objective is to build the capability of municipal officials across municipal portfolios by increasing their awareness and improving their knowledge and skills to understand that their role and delivery contribute to local economic development in their region.
This initiative presents an opportunity to upskill officials and office bearers and build state capability, competency, and professionalism
