Job Advert: 20 x Peace Officers (12 Month EPWP Contract)

Background:

Witzenberg Municipality (Covering the following areas: Ceres, Tulbagh, Wolseley, Prince Alfred’s Hamlet and Op-die-Berg.)

 in collaboration with Western Cape Department of Community Safety is proud to present skills development opportunities for unemployed youth, permanently residing in the Witzenberg municipal area. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend from the Department of Community Safety.

Applications are hereby invited from individuals with the applicable qualifications for the above vacancy

Requirements:

  • Applicant to be between 18 to 35 years
  • Grade 12
  • Must be physically & medically fit
  • No criminal record/previous convictions or pending criminal cases
  • Ability to communicate in at least two of the official local languages.
  • Applicants will be subjected to a physical fitness test
  • A valid code B driver’s license will be an advantage

Stipend:  R 155 .00 per day
