Minister Fritz visits Multipurpose Centre in Salt River

2016
(Western Cape Government)

Geared to see at first-hand the invaluable services provided by NGO's to our communities, Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Mr Albert Fritz visited the Multi Service Centre in Salt River on the 11 March 2013.

The centre works with vulnerable children in need of care, and their programmes are adjusted so as to equip each person with the skills needed for the challenges they face in their everyday lives. This centre is registered with the Western Cape Department of Social Development as a shelter for 30 boy children age 10-18years old.

Minister Fritz in his visit toured around the centre and went to see some of the programmes run by the centre, the Early Childhood Development and the boy's shelter.

The Minister will visit several NGO's in the next few months and he's committed to working with credible NGO's who render services that make an impact in the lives of vulnerable communities.
