The purpose of this policy is to adopt a holistic approach to health risk management by seeking synergies with wellness and disease management programmes provided by employees' medical schemes and by implementing sick leave management as well as rehabilitation and re-skilling structures in conjunction with health risk management, to prevent abuse of sick leave by managing incapacity of ill-health as far as possible, to adopt a scientific approach to health risk management based on sound medical, actuarial and legal principles.
