Probations Services Act 116 of 1991

This Act serves as an interim measure to facilitate the transformation of the child and youth care system. This transformation of the child and youth care system relates to: early intervention; family finding; home based supervision; restorative justice; services in terms of victims of crime; assessment of arrested children who have not been released from custody.
