This discussion document considers the overall objectives of the LandCare programme in relation to the conservation of natural resources. It outlines the community, provincial and national initiatives and structures needed to implement the programme. It also looks at the five components of the Government's programme and how these will be implemented and considers the organisational structures within which these programmes will be implemented.
