National Youth Development Agency
A comprehensive database of bursary opportunities in higher education is available on the National Youth Development Agency youth portal. The database is searchable by career category and includes information on eligibility criteria, closing dates for applications, contact details and conditions. National Student Financial Aid Scheme
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) offers loans to South African students wanting to study at public universities or universities of technology. Up to 40% of the loan can be written off if the student is academically successful enough. You can apply for assistance online NSFAS website or at a university or university of technology Financial Aid Bureau.
