Solar & Storage Live Cape Town 15-16 October 2025

Solar & Storage Live Cape Town returns to the CTICC, 15-16 October2025 - bringing the energy sector’s leading innovators and decision-makers together

Cape Town will once again play host to Africa’s most anticipated clean energy event as Solar & Storage Live Cape Town returns to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 15–16 October 2025. Building on the momentum of its successful launch in 2024, this year’s edition is set to welcome thousands of energy professionals, government stakeholders, investors and technology providers committed to accelerating South Africa’s transition to a secure, sustainable energy future.

The event will showcase the latest innovations in solar power, energy storage and smart-energy systems, providing a vital platform for industry-wide collaboration, learning and deal-making.

The 2025 event is supported by the Western Cape Government as Government Partner and the City of Cape Town as Host City Partner, reinforcing the region’s strong commitment to energy security, infrastructure development and clean technology investment. Their partnership underscores the strategic role the Western Cape continues to play in leading South Africa’s energy transition.

The exhibition will feature a diverse array of industry leaders including ATESS, Sungrow Southern Africa, Krannich Solar, GC Solar, ACDC Dynamics, among many others.

Attendees will also have access to a content-rich, two-day conference, bringing together leading voices from across the energy landscape to explore key challenges and opportunities - spanning policy, finance, technology, skills development, and infrastructure—and deliver practical insights and actionable strategies.

New for 2025, the show will introduce the Made in South Africa Pavilion, a dedicated platform to celebrate the innovation, ambition and talent powering the country’s clean energy transition. Whether manufacturing technology, installing systems, or developing homegrown solutions, this initiative offers South African-founded companies the opportunity to showcase their work to regional and international buyers.

Further expanding the programme, Powering Hospitality—facilitated by the Federated Hospitality Association of South Africa (FEDHASA)—will unpack available funding and practical pathways for hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality businesses to implement solar, battery storage, and electric‑vehicle (EV) charging to reduce the impacts of future load‑shedding and lower operating cost.

The event will also welcome South African Renewable Energy Business Incubator (SAREBI) as Start-up Pavilion Partner. SAREBI will host a series of practical workshops for start‑ups and small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) on scaling energy businesses, accessing finance, and navigating regional regulations. Returning in 2025 are many of the show’s most popular features. The Installers University will once again offer practical, hands-on workshops and technical training for solar installers, contractors and technicians, while the Start-up Pavilion will spotlight emerging innovators and entrepreneurs developing new technologies and business models to accelerate the clean energy transition.

Solar & Storage Live Cape Town is part of Terrapinn’s global series of renewable energy events, connecting markets across Europe, Asia and Africa. The Cape Town edition continues to play a crucial role in regional investment, upskilling the local workforce, and supporting the adoption of reliable, scalable and affordable energy solutions.
