Harry Malila Director-General: Western Cape Government Harry is the administrative head of the Western Cape Government (WCG). He chairs the provincial top management meeting and represents the provincial administration at national forums. Harry is responsible for provincial strategic planning, data governance, and monitoring and evaluation. He is also the Accounting Officer for the Department of the Premier, which provides corporate services to WCG departments, including Information Technology through the Centre for e-Innovation, People Management, Corporate Assurance and Legal Services, as well as Corporate Communication. |

Marcia Korsten Deputy Director-General: Strategic Programmes Marcia leads the Strategic Programmes branch as the programme manager for International and Priority Programmes, Policy and Strategy and Strategic Management Information units. These units lead and coordinate provincial strategic management through policy and strategy support, leveraging data and evidence and institutionalising strategic programmes across the Western Cape Government. |

Andre Joemat Head: Corporate Service Centre Andre leads the Department’s Corporate Service Centre (CSC). The CSC has five business units: Centre for e-Innovation, People Management, Corporate Assurance, Legal Services, and Corporate Communication. These units provide 64 services to Western Cape Government departments. |

Hilton Arendse Deputy Director-General: Centre for e-Innovation Hilton leads our Centre for e-Innovation (CeI). CeI improves service delivery across Western Cape Government departments through the coordinated implementation of information and communication technologies, to enable digitally empowered citizens and employees. Service categories include Strategic ICT, GITO Management, Transversal Applications, and Connected Government and Infrastructure. |

Henriette Robson Deputy Director-General: Corporate Assurance Henriette leads the Department’s Corporate Assurance branch. The branch delivers a total of six services to Western Cape Government departments. Functional units include Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Provincial Forensic Services. |

Lucas Buter Deputy Director-General: Legal Services Lucas leads the Legal Services branch of the Department. The branch provides comprehensive in-house legal services to Western Cape Government departments to ensure legally-sound decision making. Functional units include Legislation, Litigation, Legal Advisory Services (economic and social clusters), and Legal Governance. |

Faiza Steyn Director: Corporate Communication
Faiza leads the Department’s Corporate Communication Directorate, which plays a communication oversight role and provides internal and external communication services to Western Cape Government departments. Functional units include Relationship Management and Creative Design. |
