National Department of Social Development: Statement on ECD & Partial Care: Self-Assessment 05 July 2020

An early childhood development programme and/or partial care facility that intends to re-open under the duration of the state of disaster, subject to the pronouncement of a date and the conditions of such re-opening by the National Minister of Social Development, must complete a preopening self-assessment form (Annexure A: Form 1) that needs to be submitted online (https://forms.gle/c7y8ZL5W94diuqTS6). For those who are unable to complete the online assessment form, you may submit the completed paper copy of the self-assessment form to the nearest provincial Department of Social Development local office/service/ regional office or the social service organisations rendering partial care services in your area.

An early childhood development programme and/or partial care facility that needs guidance and information in respect of paragraph 7 may contact the social work policy developer at the Department of Social Development or the social service organisation rendering partial care services in your area.
