I-CAN PLAY Gaming Centre - Khayelisha Bandwidth Barn

In 2017, 2.2 billion people across the world played digital games. Were they just wasting their time? We think not!

A home for Gamers

Khayelitsha’s Gaming Hub is a place for fun and friendly competition! Come and play your favourite digital games, join a team and show off your skills.

Don’t know what gaming is all about? Don’t worry! We welcome new gamers, young and old at I-CAN Play! We’ll take you through the basics, and show you how to get started in the exciting new world! Already an expert gamer? Show us what you’re made of! Gaming creates communities of young people who cheer each other on, share gaming strategies and build teams that work together.

Visit the I-CAN Play Gaming Hub at the Khayelitsha Barn today, and experience the positive impact of games first hand. For more information on the Khayelitsha Bandwidth Barn and the Gaming Hub there go to: www.citi.org.za/spaces/bandwidth-barn-khayelitsha

The Gaming Hub was set up in 2018 as a proof-of-concept initiative of the Western Cape Government, in partnership with Lenovo and VS Gaming.  The Hub has since been handed over to the Khayelitsha Bandwidth Barn who is now responsible for its operation.
