Stakeholders
The main stakeholders of the RSEP Programme are the Western Cape Government, the municipalities, communities and private sector and institutions. These stakeholders are jointly responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the Programme. Their roles and responsibilities are shown in the blocks below:
WESTERN CAPE GOVERNMENT (WCG)
- Primary funder of the RSEP Programme
- Provincial Departments responsible for implementation of particular projects
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of the Programme
MUNICIPALITIES
- Beneficiaries of funding from the WCG
- Responsible for funding and implementing certain projects
