The Influence of the Method of Topdressing Fertiliser Phosphorus (P) to Established Kikuyu at the Outeniqua Research Station
This research aims to investigate the possibility of topdressing established kikuyu low in soil-P with fertiliser-P.
Five P-rates (0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 kg P/ha) are applied as topdressings (applied to the soil surface and irrigated into the root zone or mixed with the top 10cm soil through rotovator action).
Dry matter production and soil-P levels are recorded.
