World Teachers' Day: Minister Grant to Visit Holiday Teacher Training Centre

Donald Grant, Western Cape Education Minister, will mark World Teachers' Day on Wednesday, 5 October 2011, by visiting teachers attending holiday training sessions organised by the Western Cape Education Department (WCED).

More than 8 000 teachers are attending sessions at about 50 venues across the province as they prepare to implement the national curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) in the Foundation Phase and Grade 10 next year.
