West Coast hosts housing demand database verification and registration drive

The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements and the West Coast District municipalities will embark on a Housing Demand Database Verification Registration Drive this Saturday 9 November 2019. The drive covers all municipal areas in the West Coast which includes Swartland, Saldanha Bay, Bergrivier, Cederberg and Matzikama municipalities.

Citizens who need to register for the first time, or update their details, on the Housing Demand Database is encouraged to visit one of the venues this Saturday. This drive is to ensure that citizens’ details on the Housing Demand Database is accurate and up to date, as this could have a direct impact on being selected for a housing opportunity from government.

Following a pilot drive in George Municipality,  the Department has thus far completed drives in the Cape Winelands and Overberg Districts.
