Seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Africa

The Minister of Health Dr ZweliMkhize, on 9 March 2020 announced that more people have tested positive for COVID-19. This now brings the total of confirmed cases to seven in South Africa – six in KwaZulu Natal and one in Gauteng.
All were part of the group who returned from Italy.
