National Championships for Physically Disabled and Visually Impaired

MEDIA ALERT: NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR PHYSICALLY DISABLED AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED TO BE OPENED BY MINISTER MARAIS 

On Sunday, 17 March 2019, Minister Anroux Marais will officially open the Toyota National Championships for the Physically Disabled and Visually Impaired in Stellenbosch.

The annual multi-code event affords both our juniors and seniors the opportunity to qualify to represent South Africa at international sporting events, the most prestigious being the 2020 Paralympic Games.

During this competition, participants will contest in the following codes: Para Athletics, Boccia, CP Football, Goalball, Judo for the Blind, Para Cycling, Para Powerlifting and Para Swimming.

The national championships will take place at the Coetzenberg Centre in Stellenbosch the from 17 – 21 March 2019.
