MOD Centre rope dancers dazzle at Women’s Day celebrations in Mossel Bay

17 August 2017

On 11 August 2017 the Bartolomeu Dias Museum in Mossel Bay, hosted their local Women’s Day celebrations.

Guests from the local townships were entertained by the Milkwood Primary School choir and a vibrant group of rope dancers from the DCAS Mass participation; Opportunity and access; Development and growth (MOD) Programme in George. Representatives from the Cape Town office of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, along with the Friends of the Museum and various NGOs participated in the interactive programme.

DCAS encourages local museums to promote our cultural heritage and to expose communities to the fun-filled activities at our museums BETTER TOGETHER.
