Minister Meyer to Send off Western Cape Participants to 2012 Olympic Games

On Tuesday, 10 July 2012, Dr Ivan Meyer, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, will send off the Western Cape participants to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

This event will take place between 10:00 and 11:00 at the Athlone Stadium, Cross Boulevard, Athlone.

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport acknowledges the participants' perseverance and hard work and believe that they are the best sportspeople to represent the Western Cape and South Africa at the Games.
