Minister Marais Meets Staff in the Cape Winelands Region

On Wednesday, 17 June 2015, Minister Anroux Marais visited various regional offices in the Cape Winelands region to meet staff members of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport and to see what they do.

Minister Marais started the day visiting the Bien Donne and Groot Drakenstein Cultural facilities. The Minister met the staff working at the facilities and was given a tour of both facilities. The next stop was the Boland regional Sport office, where Minister Marais met the staff and had the opportunity to ask staff members questions about their work to gain a deeper understanding of what they do in the region.

The Minister ended the day in Worcester where she met staff members working at the Boland regional Library service office. Her last stop was the Worcester museum, where she was given a tour of the museum and its grounds, and met all the staff members working there.

Minister Marais will continue with her series of meet and greets to meet staff members who are based in the regions outside of the Metro.
