Minister Madikizela to Launch Multimillion Rand Affordable Housing in M Plain

Construction of Phase 1 of the Regent Villas social housing project is expected to begin in September 2018 and will yield 104 units ranging from a Bachelor to a three-bedroom family unit. The total budget for this project is an estimated R38 million.

The project will provide affordable and decent rental homes to the people of Mitchells Plain and surrounding areas. Regent Villas is in close proximity to public transport, clinics, schools and economic opportunities, making it an Integrated Residential Development.

The project is estimated to be completed in September 2020.
