Minister Fritz to join City of Cape Town at launch of Delft Focus Table

Today, Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will join City of Cape Town MAYCO Member, Ald. JP Smith to launch the Focus Table initiative in Delft.

The Focus Table is linked to the City’s innovative Neighbourhood Safety Team launched late last year. 

The Focus Table comprises of the Department of Social Development, the City’s Law Enforcement, SD&ECD and Prof John Cartwright from UCT.  The Focus Table meets every second week to discuss cases that could not be resolved through existing statutory interventions and NGO interventions. 

There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
