The City of Cape Town's Sport, Recreation and Amenities Department will officially open a new rugby clubhouse at the Rooikrans Avenue Sports Ground in Grassy Park.
Councillor George March, Ward Councillor for Ward 66, will officiate at the event.
The clubhouse will serve the Grassy Park, Lotus River, Ottery, Wynberg, Lavender Hill, Cafda, Steenberg, Retreat, Westlake and Phumlani communities. The Sport, Recreation and Amenities Department contributed R220 000.00 and Western Province Rugby contributed R200 000 towards the building of the clubhouse.
