Media Alert: Official Opening of the Khayelitsha School of Skills

Tomorrow, Western Cape Education Minister Donald Grant will be attending the official opening of the Khayelitsha/ Lathi-tha School of Skills.

The school provides special educational support to learners in the Khayelitsha area.

The Minister will be unveiling a plaque in celebration of the school's opening.

Directions to the new Lathi-tha School of Skills in Khayelitsha

From the N2:

  1. Take the N2 from Cape Town towards Somerset West.
  2. Take the turn-off to Spine Road after passing the Mew Way and R300 turn-offs.
  3. Turn right, cross the bridge and proceed with the road until you reach a small traffic circle.
  4. Turn right around the circle and proceed towards Mitchell's Plain.
  5. Cross Landsdowne Road at the robots and proceed in Spine Road, pass Bulumko High school on your right.
  6. Cross another traffic circle (big) and a train bridge.
  7. Turn right at the third traffic circle (big), pass a TOTAL Garage on you right.
  8. Turn into the third street on your left. The school is on the right side on a corner.
  9. The building belonged previously to Manyano High School and the Masithandane Primary School
