Media Alert: Minister Plato Takes Women’s Month Celebrations to Overberg

On Tuesday 19 August 2014, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will take the Department of Community Safety’s Women’s Month celebratory events to the Overberg.

During the month of August, Minister Plato will be visiting different communities throughout the province to honour women from the different areas, to highlight women’s safety and to pledge men’s responsibilities in the fight against violence against women.

Minister Plato will be visiting the towns of Stanford and Kleinmond today.

All media are invited to attend. There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
