Media Alert: Minister Plato Takes Women’s Month Celebrations to Beaufort West

Tomorrow, Thursday 21 August 2014, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will take the Department of Community Safety’s Women’s Month celebratory events to Beaufort West.

During the month of August, Minister Plato is visiting different communities throughout the province to honour women from the different areas. He will use the opportunity to highlight women’s safety and to pledge men’s responsibilities in the fight against violence against women.

All media are invited to attend. There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
