Media Alert: Minister Grant to Congratulate Candidates and Officials

Today, 7 January 2014, Minister Grant is inviting media to join him on his visit to two district offices and a school to congratulate them on their 2013 NSC results.

The first visit is to District South office, who achieved the greatest increase in performance in 2013. The second is District East office. They also achieved substantial increases in their results, particularly in areas such as Khayelitsha, who again improved their performance and quality of their result. Details of this will be released at the event today.

The Minister will then join candidates at Intlanganiso Secondary for the release of their matric results. This school achieved a substantial percentage pass rate increase, as well as increases in numbers and bachelor passes.
