Media Alert: Minister Alan Winde to Address the First Online Oil and Gas Portal

Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, will deliver the keynote address at the launch of South Africa’s first oil and gas skills portal.

It is the first online joint co-ordinated platform for skills, training and job opportunities in Africa’s oil and gas sector.

Several leading tertiary institutions and international organisations are partnering with the project, which is being driven by the SA Oil and Gas Alliance (SAOGA).

Minister Winde will also provide an update on the Western Cape Government’s Artisan Development Programme, which has offered on-the-job training to more than 100 young artisans.
