Liberating Youths through Arts and Culture
The George Museum celebrates Heritage Month through empowering unemployed youths in the area with skills development in the arts and culture sector.
Youths from the greater George area will attend the Heritage Seminar hosted by the museum and its partners on Friday, 28 September 2012.
Ms Thozama Ngcoko, an Education Officer at the museum, says that the seminar will create awareness about job opportunities in the arts and culture sector. They will be taught the specific skills required to start a career in this sector.
She says that the museum attempts to create greater awareness about cultural heritage and the associated job opportunities.
