City to Announce Winners of 2010 Cape Town Entrepreneurship Competition

The over-all winner of this competition will participate in the Barcelona Hit Competition in Spain in June 2010.

Alderman Felicity Purchase, Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Development and Tourism will officiate.

The Cape Town Entrepreneurship Competition was launched in January 2010 to recognise and expand entrepreneurship in Cape Town. It focuses on technology and innovation in the fields of biotechnology, telecommunications and media, information and communication technology (ICT), 'clean' technology, healthcare and social entrepreneurship.
