City and Bank Agreement Delivers Affordable Houses in Elsies River

"Leo Mews", in Elsies River, is the newest housing development that will see residents benefit from a City of Cape Town co-operative venture with Standard Bank and the developer, Bitol Ltd. The development is aimed specifically at the "gap housing market". Owning a home will now become a reality for households earning between R7 500 to R10 000 per month.

Executive Mayor Dan Plato will be the keynote speaker and hand the keys to the first occupants of this affordable housing project at an event on Monday.

The Premier of the Western Cape, Helen Zille, will be the guest speaker.
