R43 between Worcester and Villiersdorp opened ahead of schedule

TR 30/2 (R43) between Worcester and Villiersdorp: Reopened

Following tireless work by the Western Cape Department of Infrastructure and its consultants and contractors, 

• TR30/2 is now open to traffic.
• This route was closed due to significant flood damage.
• The reopening is almost two weeks ahead of schedule.
• It is open with full two-way traffic flow.
   

Road users are reminded to use the road carefully as ancillary works like line marking will still be done in the coming weeks but reopening the route was a priority.
