Premier Winde and Minister Simmers to officially open Malmesbury Bypass

This R693 million project began in May 2023 and involved constructing a crucial 6.7 km roadway connecting the Hopefield Interchange on the N7 with the junction of the R45 (towards Wellington) and the R46 (towards Riebeek Kasteel).

The development also includes five new bridges and a grade-separated interchange at the R45/R46 junction, which will enhance accessibility and road safety all with the view of supporting growth in the Swartland region.
