The western lanes of MR189 in the direction of Paarl will be closed for construction between the intersection with MR191 and the New Eskdale Street onramp to the N1 between 18 February and 15 May 2026. The eastern lanes of MR189 will carry traffic in both directions for the duration of the closure.
